HIGH END FASHION DESIGNER DANIEL DOLCE SCHEDULED TO MAKE PUBLIC APPEARANCE AT Perrysburg SPECIALTY STORE v couture WITH FIRST EVER AFGHAN WAR VETERAN TURNED TOP MODEL SHANE DUFFY.
NEW YORK, NY, MARCH 21, 2011: New York based fashion designer Daniel Dolce has just been booked to visit the upscale men’s specialty shop V COUTURE in Perrysburg, OH which specializes in distinguished and brand collections as well as custom tailored clothing.
Mr. Dolce who got his start in the fashion business at Hamburger’s Department Store of Baltimore after graduating from Washington College in Chestertown, will be speaking about his latest, unique collection. The line consists of dress shirts, neckwear, cufflinks and mufflers. “This season we’re embracing new fabrications, colorations and design elements that promise to bring new life and perspective to anyone’s wardrobe,” says the designer. In addition Mr. Dolce will be giving personalized one-on-one fashion consultations. He is scheduled to be at the store on Friday, April 15th from 5pm to 9pm.
Accompanying the designer will be the first Afghan War Veteran turned top fashion model, Shane Duffy, who has been the spokesmodel for Dolce’s eponymous label, Daniel Dolce Italy, for the last three years.
Duffy served as a military occupational specialist (MOS)- 25B (Information Systems Operator Analyst) and was stationed at Forward Operation Base Salerno, Afghanistan near the Afghan-Pakistani border. Throughout his tour Duffy volunteered for numerous humanitarian missions, delivering food, clothing and medical supplies to remote villages recently liberated from Taliban insurgency.
